Seeing God In Nature

Recognizing God
I am in northern Wisconsin, fishing with family and friends as I write this.
When on the lake, I heard bullfrogs bullfrogging, woodpeckers woodpecking, loons looning, birds chirping, and the soft sound the wind makes blowing through the leaves in the trees and across the water on the lake.
One of the birds, the northern flicker, makes a noise like someone laughing when it chirps, which made everyone on the boat smile while thinking that the bird was amused at our humble attempts at fishing.
We have seen so many different, beautiful shades of green across a variety of trees and vegetation within the different plants on the shoreline.
We saw a black bear, a deer, an eagle, and a tiny mouse. We are humbled to see how much God loves us, as seen in His gifts in nature.
All I kept thinking about was that beautiful church song, How Great Thou Art:
“Oh Lord my God! When I, in awesome wonder, consider all the works thy hands have made…then sings my soul…how great thou art, how great thou art..."
Amen!
